What is Bed&Learn? It means you can travel teaching what you know or you can host learning what you like.
The old concept of exchange has been renewed in a creative way, giving life to a beautiful project, that of travelling and teaching your own talents, or hosting for learning what you like. The idea is all Italian, it was born in a small village between Chieti and Pescara, San Giovanni Teatino, and its creator is the entrepreneur Armando Verdini and his team of the computer firm Tinfor Srl. The brilliant idea comes out of a discussion within the work group speaking of a lesson of English: and what if the teacher is hosted in exchange for his/her lessons? At this point, from the hypothesis to the computer making of the idea the footstep is short and the project Bed&Learn and its web site are born: www.bedandlearn.com.
Armando Verdini explains that: "It deals with a site in which you can freely register, specifying where you would like to go and what to teach, interweaving your own applications with those who make their own hospitality available in order to learn something they like." As an entrepreneur Armando knows that he will need funds to promote the site, partially money will arrive from the advertising and then a base of crowdfunding could be thought for getting some financings.
Their ambition is entrepreneurial, Bed&Learn wants to become a base open to everybody, a real net of contributors, a structure with people who travel for verifying what is offered and to give guarantees to their own affiliates. Something has been moving up with the registrations, because the Net is a means of opportunity exchange with a great potential and, at the same time, some B&B structures have already offered their support, in the periods of low tourist flow.
This private enterprise wants to meet the need to save money, but we must not underestimate the deeper need of nowadays women and men, who want to travel to make new experiences,to share and meet new people and cultures. Congratulations to Armando and his co-workers!
It's the right way to start anew, with our ideas, our talents and our creativity. Let's start to make a list of what we can do and share them with others, let's not get stuck to what we lost, let's look ahead. Ad maiora!
